Vanja Westerberg is an economist with 10 years of experience in applied research and fieldwork spanning Europe, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. She is a co-founder of Altus Impact – an advisory firm working with public- and private-sector organisations to craft solutions to pressing development and environment challenges. She also serves as a lecturer at the Swiss Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) and has previously worked for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and for major French and Danish research institutions (INRA, CNRS, KORA). She holds a PhD in environmental economics from the University of Montpellier.
